The EPSON AcuLaser C8500 is a powerful and high quality colour laser printer with extensive paper handling capabilities including duplexing and the ability to print edge to edge A3 with full bleed and crop marks. Versatile enough to sit within a number of business environments, this machine is equally at home as a general purpose business printer or as a graphics printing device.

Fitted with a 266Mhz RISC Processor together with a class leading engine capable of printing speeds up to 6ppm colour and 26ppm mono, the AcuLaser C8500 prints at an effective resolution of 2400dpi. Developed by the world's leader in colour printing, extremely high quality is achieved through EPSON's unique AcuLaser Colour Technologies.

The standard paper input of 400 sheets can be boosted to an impressive 1400 sheet capacity through different configurations featuring one or two 500 sheet paper cassettes, whilst the optional duplex unit enables double sided printing up to A3. Furthermore, full A3W paper input ensures that is possible to print true edge to edge A3 prints. Optional true Adobe� PostScript� 3� is also available for more advanced colour matching and for printing EPS (Encapsulated PostScript) files.

Additional standard features include Send Once Print Many technology. A flexible printer driver with in-built EPSON Status Monitor 3 provides important printer status, consumables and media information directly to the user's workstation.

The EPSON AcuLaser C8500 range, like all EPSON network printers, can be easily configured and managed remotely using EPSON network management system tools and plug-ins for Novell NDPS, HP WebJetAdmin and HP Openview.

The EPSON AcuLaser C8500 range consists of four models:-

AcuLaser C8500PS* - Standard Unit + PostScript (256 Mb memory)
AcuLaser C8500DT - Standard Unit + 2 x 500 Sheet Cassette Unit + Duplex Unit + Hard Disk Drive (193 Mb memory)
AcuLaser C8500 PSDT - Standard Unit + PostScript + 2 x 500 Sheet Cassette Unit + Duplex Unit +Hard Disk Drive (384 Mb memory)
The Aculaser C8500 can also be turned into a fully featured colour photocopier with an optional Copy Station kit.
